Applications for the 2026 Sensory Stories Summer Roadshow are now open. Apply by 14 June.

The Sensory Stories Summer Roadshow is bringing live author events to children with additional support needs in Scotland during the summer holidays.
The events feature three incredibly talented, creative authors and storytellers who will visit your setting and hold sessions that are tailored to the specific needs of your group. The authors will engage with the children through sensory storytelling or using props, music, and movement to create a truly immersive experience.

The Sensory Stories Summer Roadshow is part of Sensory Storytelling which brings the magic of author visits and the many benefits of books and sensory storytelling to pupils in Scotland's special schools and other settings working with children with additional support needs.
