This rhyme is great for babies; they’ll love the eye contact and the tickles.

Sitting beside each other, you can take turns with your toddler to tickle each other’s knee. Say the rhyme slowly and clearly, and repeat a few times. This gives your child the opportunity to catch the words and join in with you.

If you child has a favourite cuddly toy or doll, they might like to try doing the actions on their toy instead.
