Fingers Like to Wiggle Waggle

Very young babies will love watching your fingers wiggle-waggling! Lie your baby on their back, and wiggle your fingers about 30cm away from their face. Gently let your hands fall onto your baby’s knees at the end

Toddlers can join in with the actions of the song - encourage them to wiggle their fingers and then lower their hands onto their knees

Encourage children to make up their own verses of the song by asking them what else their fingers can do, other than wiggle-waggle? For example, can they wave up high, curl up small, tickle tummies, cuddle tight… the possibilities are endless. Keep the rest of the words the same.
