The Live Literature Schools Residency programme is a fully-funded opportunity for 10 schools a year to work with an author-in-residence. For all residencies we are happy to facilitate blended models, allowing for the freedom to work remotely or in-person depending on your school’s circumstances. Applications closed on Monday 22 May at 12 midday.

Applications are closed for the 2023/24 period. This page is for information only.

Who can apply?

Build in time to gather or request necessary information. The application form is short (950 words across 11 questions) but you will be asked to include SIMD statistics about your school and also a statement from one of your colleagues as well as your own.

You can download a Word document version of the application form to work on your application offline, but only applications submitted online will be considered.
