Application form: Developing and Sustaining Reading for Pleasure (Primary)

Application submission closing date: Friday 14 March at 11.59pm.

Applicants will be informed of the result of their application by 25 April.

Applications for 2025–2026 are now closed. Please check back in January 2026 when applications for the 2026–2027 course will open.

You will be asked to confirm that you meet the following requirements to take part before you can apply:

You have full GTCS registration
You are currently employed as a primary school teacher or hold a promoted post in Education within a Local Authority setting in Scotland
That you have discussed and agreed your participation in this course with your head of establishment/local authority. NB: Written agreement is required – a form will be emailed to you to share with them once we have received your application.
That you agree to return our evaluation survey within two weeks of your final session
