Scottish Friendly Children's Book Tour: Rashmi Sirdeshpande (virtual event)
The Scottish Friendly Children’s Book Tour is delighted to host award-winning children's author Rashmi Sirdeshpande(this link will open in a new window), author of We’ve Got This! Six Steps to Build Your Empathy Superpower – an essential handbook for young readers offering six simple steps to harness empathy as a superpower that can positively impact their lives and the world, written in partnership with EmpathyLab(this link will open in a new window).
As part of this special event in the build up to Empathy Day (6th June), Rashmi will talk about the importance of empathy, understanding our emotions and show us how to turn the transformative power of empathy into action, and answer questions from schools in a moderated Q&A. The event will last approximately 45 minutes.
