This festive season, we are running our first ever Christmas Appeal Auction, featuring exclusive, original artwork by best-selling illustrators. All proceeds from the auction will support children and families across Scotland to access the magic of books.

We’re offering you a rare opportunity to bid on a selection of artworks generously donated by the brilliant artists we collaborate with year-round, including Axel Scheffler (The Gruffalo), Jamie Smart (Bunny vs Monkey) and Debi Gliori (illustrator of Bookbug). These artists and illustrators help us to share books and stories with children and families all over Scotland through their creative work and beyond.
All funds raised will enable Scottish Book Trust to deliver more life-changing work.
The Auction is live and will close at 9pm on Wednesday 3 December 2025.
