Arts Alive: how to guide for schools

Important tips, information and forms for schools taking part in the pilot year of Arts Alive.

Out of focus in the foreground, a man in a blue Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO) t-shirt plays a french horn while a teacher in the background is helping a pupil play tuned percussion

Once your Arts Alive session or residency has been confirmed, it’s time to start planning!

Arts Alive is a pilot programme connecting schools with artists, supported by Scottish Book Trust and Scotland's National Performing Companies.

The information and guidance on this page is for the 202122 Arts Alive programme. It will be updated when more information is available. For all enquiries email arts.alive@scottishbooktrust.com(this link will open in a new window)

When do I need to use my sessions by?

Deadlines have shifted during the pilot year due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19. All funding must be used by the end of December 2021

All Arts Alive events are likely to be a little different, so we’ve gathered together information to use as a guide rather than a set of rules. If you have any questions or encounter any problems, please email arts.alive@scottishbooktrust.com(this link will open in a new window).
