The Bear and the Hare and the Fair: Ideas and activities

Make your own chair swing ride spinners

You will need:

• Paper plates or cardboard circles
• Pens, stickers or crayons
• A small pencil

Instructions:

• Decorate the paper plate or cardboard circle using pens, stickers or crayons
• Push the small pencil through the centre of the paper plate or cardboard circle
• Spin your creation round on a flat surface!

Create your own paper rollercoaster

You will need:

• Strips of coloured paper
• Tape or glue

Extras if you have them:

• Cardboard tubes

Instructions:

• Use the strips of paper to create loops and rollercoaster tracks
• Glue these to a piece of card
• You could also add pieces of cardboard tubes and experiment with different ways to lift the paper strips off the card to create bigger loops, twists and turns
