Hello, my name is Tabatha Stirling and I’m a published author, poet, indie publisher and book cover artist living in Edinburgh.  My debut novel, Bitter Leaves, was longlisted for the Not The Booker Prize run by The Guardian. I am particularly interested in publishing and writing about mental health; I have Bi Polar and a 12 year old with Aspergers and understand the challenges that poor mental health can throw in our path.

I’ve spoken at book events, literary festivals and even The London Book Fair and was the short story judge at Hastings Lit Fest this year.  I absolutely love talking to people, young and old, about books, reading, plot, character, story and what my experience of being an Indie publisher in 2010’s has been like.

I am committed to publishing more about Scots' mental health and our next project is an anthology about Scottish children & their mental health experiences.  It is a huge enterprise, but we are certain it has merits that will have a positive effect for years to come.

I'm really looking forward to working with Scottish institutions, groups, schools and anybody else who might have need of me.
