Axel Scheffler created this very special festive illustration in support of our Christmas Appeal
We are incredibly grateful to Axel Scheffler for illustrating this very special festive picture, which he created in support of Scottish Book Trust’s Christmas Appeal. This unique and original drawing celebrates The Gruffalo, the classic picture book written by Julia Donaldson, which marks its 25th anniversary this year.
The drawing first appeared in The Herald, and we are very grateful for their support of our Appeal as our media partner.
The drawing will be put on sale later in 2025 with all proceeds going to Scottish Book Trust’s Christmas Appeal, to gift books to children and families through food banks over the winter months. If you would like to be kept updated on the sale of the artwork, please register your details below.
