Silver Tickets Terms and Conditions
- The competition will be organised and administered by Scottish Book Trust (the “Organisers”).
- The competition is not open to Scottish Book Trust employees or the employees of any organisation through which the silver tickets will be gifted in copies of Adventure.
- Winners are those who have found one of seven silver Scottish Book Trust 25th anniversary tickets in a copy Scotland’s Stories: Adventure
- Winners must contact Scottish Book Trust by one of the three means stated on the ticket by the 31st January 2024 to claim their prize:
- On the website, enter by completing our form, including providing the unique code found on their ticket
- By emailing the email address given and providing the unique code found on their ticket
- By calling the phone number given and providing the unique code found on their ticket. In all cases winners will be asked to provide either a photo of their ticket, or to send the original ticket to us before the prize will be mailed to them.
- Any silver ticket not claimed by 5.30pm on Wednesday 31 January 2024 will become null and void.
- Winners must either be over the age of 18 and therefore able give consent to providing Scottish Book Trust with their contact details to enable the delivery of their prize, or, if they are under 18, must have a parent or guardian contact Scottish Book Trust on their behalf and give consent for Scottish Book Trust to have their contact details for the purposes of the competition.
- We take seriously our safeguarding commitment to the young people (under 18yrs) whom we engage with through our opportunities. If an entry/submission by a young person to one of our opportunities causes us concern for their well-being, we may contact child welfare organisations or other relevant bodies for assistance in addressing this concern.
- Scottish Book Trust will ask competition winners, and in the event of being under the age of 18 competitions winners’ parents or guardians, for permission to share an image and the winners name on social media to promote Book Week Scotland and Scottish Book Trust. Competition winners do not have to give consent and this will not affect their prize claim.
- Illegible, incomplete or late entries cannot be accepted.
- Only one entry and prize per person.
- The entry instructions form part of the rules. By entering, you agree to accept and be bound by the rules.
- There are no cash alternatives to our prizes. Entrants outside of the UK will be asked to cover the cost of postage.
- By entering the competition, entrants warrant that they have legal capacity to enter the competition and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
