Serious shelling.
Roof blows off.
Fresh assault, peppered from above.
Bleeding out.
Toast.

The dog walked across cautiously. He looked around nervously. He flinched when he saw the mess, but carried on. He licked the broken egg off the floor, keeping a wary eye on the woman lying still on the floor, with the bowl, flour and sugar around her.
