Kamen, 15
Silence at last. I collapse onto my knees, the sword digging into the mud. I look toward the descending sun, a forgotten soldier, bathing the clouds in a united pink and orange. The swords of the battlefield glimmer and fade, taking me and my lost comrades into a peaceful darkness.

In the year 3541 the sun was so old that it couldn't move itself, so the workers set off out of their shuttles to move the sun and brighten the earth. They have to move it every hour, day and night otherwise they are fired and have no way home.
