Award-winning author, Wendy H. Jones, writes police procedurals, humorous crime, YA mysteries and children's picture books, set in Scotland. Killer's Crew, the fifth book in her DI Shona McKenzie mysteries won the Books Go Social Book of the Year, 2017. The Dagger's Curse, the first book in her Fergus and Flora Mysteries, was a finalist in the Woman Alive Magazine Readers Choice Award 2017. As well as writing fiction she also has a series of books on writing and marketing and is the editor of two books for the Association of Christian Writers.

A popular public speaker, she has been on panels, spoken and presented workshops at conferences both nationally and internationally, as well as running reading and literacy workshops in schools and libraries. Workshops include, but are not limited to, storytelling, short story writing, marketing, motivation, novel writing, the history of crime and running an effective event.

She was the founder of Crime at the Castle, is the President of the Scottish Association of Writers, presents a bi-weekly radio show called Wendy's Book Buzz and runs the City Writers Writing group in Dundee, where she supports and mentors new and experienced writers.
