Stephen Rutt is an award-winning Dumfries-based writer of creative non-fiction. He has written five published books, covering seabirds and islands; geese and winter; climate change; saltmarsh; water and wetlands, as well as being published in The Guardian, The Times, The Scotsman, The Herald and granta.com. He is an experienced speaker, writing tutor and editor, able to talk about the reality of making a living as a writer, as well as the environmental topics he normally writes about.
