I am the author of debut novel Blood Red Sky (2025). I am also an experienced English High School Teacher with 17 years’ experience delivering English lessons for all ages. I am an experienced trainer for adults working in childrens’ services and criminal justice. I have 5 years’ experience in delivering single and multi agency child and child sexual exploitation training, as well as talks and workshops both locally and nationally for those working in Education, Social Work, Criminal Justice, Housing, Prisons and Health. I have delivered local book events that focus on community, hope and youth justice.

I am a confident, motivational speaker that brings humour and joy to training and delivery; I am a teacher by trade and bring the skills of good teaching to any room; team building, learning from each other, team building and hope. I am available to deliver workshops on Blood Red Sky or any of its associated themes (youth justice, care experienced children affected adversely by trauma, abuse, neglect and intergenerational cycles associated with these themes), the power of community and writing through trauma.

I am particularly interested in working with teenagers (in schools, colleges and residential childcare) and prison residents of any age.
