I am a writer, poet and spoken word artist from Glasgow writing in both Scots and Standard English. My poetry explores queerness, working-class life, identity, language and community. Comfortable on the stage and the page my work has been published by Gutter, Bella Caledonia, The Forward Anthology, London Review Bookshop blog and The Scotsman. I have appeared at the Edinburgh International Book Festival, Push the Boat Out and 'Life and Rhymes' with Benjamin Zephaniah on Sky Arts. I was the Scottish National Slam Championship runner-up in 2022 and a judge in 2024.

My first collection Goonie was published in June 2025 by Little, Brown and was shortlisted for the Forward Jerwood Prize for best first collection. I was the co-winner of the Edwin Morgan Poetry Award 2023-24 and I was awarded The List magazine’s best rising Scottish author prize in 2025.
