I am a cartoonist from Edinburgh. My comix include The PineappleThe Banana / Skin JokeA 52 Second Silence For Topsy, and Rrobots. My work has been published in a variety of magazines and has been exhibited internationally, and in the UK and Ireland, including shows at DCA Dundee, Talbot Rice Edinburgh, ICA London, and Catalyst Arts Belfast.

I perform readings of my comic books, and 'live comix'. In 2008 I was awarded a Donald Dewar Arts Award for outstanding work in the comic book form. I have lectured at The Burren School of Art, Duncan of Jordanstone, Glasgow School of Art, and the Scottish National Gallery. I have been teaching since 2006, and work across Britain in schools, hospitals, galleries, prisons and community centres, where I deliver workshops on drawing and comic books. I have worked with the National Galleries of Scotland, Edinburgh Printmakers, Kelvingrove Art Museum, Artlink, Out of The Blue, and Edinburgh Headway Group.

I have been working with the Scottish Book Trust as part of their Live Literature strand since 2014, delivering workshops and talks. My work is part of the private collection at the National Library of Scotland and Pallant House Gallery, Chichester. (Photo credit: Stephen Leith)
