Maggie is GTCS registered and draws on her extensive experience as a Scottish teacher to deliver engaging, interactive storytimes. She’s passionate about sharing her love of reading with schools, libraries, community organisations and festivals.

Her early years sessions cleverly weave together key curriculum learning with the warmth of intergenerational connection and always conclude with a hands-on activity. Her teaching background allows her to effectively tailor events to suit small or larger groups for educational and interactive fun for children of all abilities.

In her Rainbow Cookies session, Maggie introduces young learners to the everyday magic of baking. With a mix of song and storytelling, children explore colours, counting and the value of ‘not yet’. Her heartwarming visits inspire children and their caregivers to get creative in the kitchen and keep looking for magical rainbows in the sky.
