I’m a writer in English and Scots. I was editor of West Coast Magazine and Taranis Books. My recent collection Walking on Scoraig was published by Mythic Horse Press and I have a shorter collection called Ruchazie Moon, published by Neruda Press. My work appears in various magazines, books and anthologies; some poems and songs are in poster form. As a typesetter and designer I worked with Alasdair Gray for 20 years, producing many of his books.

My writing relates to my ecology degree and environmental PhD. I worked for many years with National Trust for Scotland in children’s outdoor and heritage learning. As learning manager at Pollok House, I organised a creative writing festival for local schools, children’s songwriting workshops, and, with Scottish National Orchestra, classical music workshops for teenagers.

I have experience in organising workshops for adults. I worked for many years with Scotland in Europe, organising creative writing events. I ran the Govan Coven writers’ group for professional writers.

I frequently appear at written word events and performed my own work in venues across Scotland including Glasgow City of Culture and COP26 and with Scotland in Europe's Words Across Water in venues in Paris and Dublin.

I also go by Eòs Moireach.
