Ian Skewis's headshot

I am a bestselling novelist and short story writer, as well as a freelance proofreader, copy-editor, and audiobook narrator. I am available for events, school and library visits, and have a great deal of experience in working with the public.

I am a former professional actor and I have spoken on panels in many book festivals up and down the country, including Bloody Scotland, Aye Write! and Newcastle Noir, as well as appearing at Hillhead Library and Alexandria Library.

I write crime, science fiction and horror and I have experience in publishing from the ground up, so I am happy to talk about not only my writing and the genres I write for, but also books in general and the publishing world at large. More information can be found on my website. (Photo credit: Pablo Llopis)
