I am an award-winning and bestselling novelist of children’s books, and I also do advocacy work for better representation and inclusivity in the publishing industry. I offer talks, workshops and readings which can range from discussing my experience as a neurodivergent writer, to diversity in publishing and to writing bestselling books. I visit schools every week as part of my job as a children’s novelist, where I talk about being an Own Voices author and standing up to discrimination and adversity in a world which can often exclude minority writers. I can teach writing workshops, while also discussing representation and my MA research in children’s publishing. Sessions can be informal and fun or serious and grounded.
