I write, edit and review poetry. I am a member of the Scottish Centre for Geopoetics, and the Federation of Scottish Writers. I have published five collections of poetry: Wherever We Live Now (2011), The Territory of Rain (2015), Haggards (2018), The Well of the Moon (2021) and Comrades of Dark Night (2026) all published by Red Squirrel Press.
I write about the relationship of humans to the landscape and communities, principally through their engagement with plants, also about questions of perception and language, the transmission of knowledge, creativity, healing and grief.
