I am a poet, performer, event producer, creative writing workshop facilitator, live event host, visual podcast host and qualified mindfulness yoga teacher. My debut poetry pamphlet was published by Seahorse Publications in May 2024. I was the Makar for The Scottish Women’s National Team Poetry Society as part of the Hampden Collection for which I hosted events and delivered workshops with young people. I have written original work for and performed in poetry theatre productions. Performed on radio shows and in festivals such as The Paisley Book Festival, StAnza International Poetry Festival, Belladrum, and Edinburgh International Book Festival. My work is wide-ranging but centres on the human experience and inter-connectedness, relationships and community. I have spent a career in youth and community work and trade union worker organising where designing and delivering training and workshops for adults and young people has comprised a large portion of my work. My creative career has meant that I have used these skills delivering creative writing workshops for festivals, local authorities and various funders. I live in Paisley with my son.
