Dominic Stevenson's headshot

Dominic is an experienced writer, poet, journalist, and creative communicator who can deliver writing workshops, host and chair events, and participate as a panel member on a wide range of topics.

His two collections of poetry, The Northern Line (2016) and I Can’t Find Me (2018), were published worldwide by Winter Goose Publishing. His creative non-fiction book, Get Your Head In The Game, was published worldwide by Watkins Publishing (2020). He has also published poetry and journalism in national and international publications.

As a passionate advocate for others, Dominic hosted and curated the spoken word night, Listen Softly, in London and Edinburgh for eight years, as well as the first season of the Authors Unedited podcast promoting the work of Scottish authors.

Dominic has extensive experience as a creative educator, having delivered writing workshops at literary festivals and events across the UK and Europe. He has also worked with children from deprived areas through the Ministry of Stories in London and people experiencing homelessness through Unseen Tours in London, as a mentor and to deliver creative writing workshops.

He has a strong background working with care experienced children and young people and refugees across Scotland and the UK.
