I have 25 years’ experience writing for page (10 books published, couple of prizes), stage (around 10 plays of various lengths, inc. a Fringe First, and 4 published), screen (100 hours of TV, inc. Taggart and drama-docs), radio (25+ plays for BBC), documentary and poetry. I have almost as many years’ experience of teaching (writer in residence, 12 years as Programme Leader of Masters degree in TV Drama writing, 10 years running theatre workshops in Spain, Moniack Mhor…) I have taught at all levels, and in all the disciplines I write in. My creative work includes memoir, crime, historical, and adaptation. I can run one-off inspirational workshops and design longer courses
