Catriona Silvey writes speculative fiction that crosses over with mainstream literary fiction. Her debut novel Meet Me in Another Life was published by HarperCollins in 2021. She has read her short fiction at various spoken word events, including Edinburgh International Book Festival, and has experience participating in panel discussions at science fiction and fantasy conventions. She particularly enjoys demystifying the process by which an idea becomes a book, and talking about how science fiction and fantasy can productively interact with other genres, such as comedy, mystery and romance.
