I’m a Scottish-Italian author based in the Scottish Borders. I write both teen/YA and picture books, drawing on my background in ESL teaching and counselling to deliver inclusive, engaging sessions that inspire confidence and creativity in young readers and writers.

Sessions for P7 / S1 and above
My sessions for older pupils are built around the themes explored in my debut YA novel Livia in Rome (Chicken House, 2025)—identity, belonging, and finding your voice. Through writing prompts, group discussion, and interactive activities, I encourage students to use their own experiences to shape authentic, powerful stories.

These workshops are ideal for classes focusing on creative writing, multicultural themes, or character-driven narratives. I also offer Q&A sessions on writing, publishing, and where ideas come from—making the world of books feel real and accessible.

Sessions for younger pupils (EY–P3/P4)
My picture book I’m Not Cute, I’m Dangerous (Maverick, 2021) is a fun, interactive story about a fluffy crocodile who’s tired of being underestimated. The story explores themes of self-acceptance, family, and not judging by appearances.

With younger classes, I use props, games, and simple craft activities to bring the story to life. My sessions are playful and creative, designed to nurture a love of books and storytelling in even the youngest readers.
