I am a poet, a teacher, an editor, and a writer. I am a confident public speaker and reader and am happy to facilitate a variety of activities such as: readings, workshops, lectures, mentoring and residencies, as well as panel and chairing events.

My debut collection, Mother, Nature, will be published by Bloodaxe Books in 2021, and my poems, focused on pregnancy and early motherhood, continue to be published in a variety of significant literary journals. They have also been shortlisted for several prestigious awards, including the Hennessy New Writing Awards in 2018 and 2016.

I have been an English teacher in Highland since 2013, so have extensive experience in BGE, National and Higher English courses, delivering both sustained subject progression and condensed revision, and writing skills, sessions.

I have also: chaired multiple events at the Tartan Heart Festival and Ness Book Festival; delivered writing workshops, for poetry and fiction, for both teenage and adult writing groups; and write reviews of contemporary poetry collections which have been published in print and online.
