Andrew Murray Scott
Andrew Murrray Scott is the author of five Scottish literary novels under his full name and, as Andrew Scott, is the author of a series of political thrillers. He has ten non-fiction book titles to his name, many of which have been reprinted in several editions, including biographies of Alex Trocchi and Graham of Claverhouse and various books about Dundeeās history and culture.
His first novel, in 2000, won the Dundee International Book Prize. A former freelance journalist and media lecturer, he worked as press officer for senior parliamentarians in three parliaments until 2016 when he returned to full-time writing. Scotched Nation, his sixth published novel, is the second in the Willie Morton Scottish mystery thriller series.
