I hold several creative writing workshops to do with writing fiction, am an experienced adjudicator, panellist and chair at various book festivals. My speciality is crime fiction but I am also a published poet and have written for radio, newspapers and magazines.

With a background in English teaching I bring a variety of knowledge into my workshops and have seen some of my previous students succeed in the publishing world, a most rewarding result. As co-founder of Bloody Scotland, I have had a great deal of experience on many aspects of literary festivals and enjoy meeting other writers.
