Do you know someone who works tirelessly to bring a love of reading and writing to young people in your community? Help us to celebrate them by nominating them for our Learning Professional Award 2024.

The winner of the Learning Professional Award receives £500 worth of books from our sponsor Browns Books, and we will create a film celebrating the winner and their hard work.

We want to acknowledge the unsung heroes who always go the extra mile, are brimming with creative ideas, and inspire even those who think reading and writing is not for them. We hope that the award will help recognise the creative, inspiring work that has taken place this year.

You can nominate an outstanding learning professional using the form below. Please provide as much detail as you can – we want to hear the specifics on the projects your nominee has run this year, what they bring to your learning environment, and the people who have benefitted from their hard work. Where possible, please include supporting statements from pupils. It might be that you recognise the qualities we're looking for in yourself, and if so we encourage you to put forward a self-nomination - even if it feels strange to do so. We want to celebrate you!

We will be accepting nominations until 5pm on December 8 2023.
