If you only do one thing
We know time is tight, so here is one activity you could do with your class before or after watching the event.
Free writing friday LIT 2-20a, LIT 2-23a, LIT 2-24a, LIT 2-28a, ENG 2-31a
In the broadcast Cressida talks about Free Writing Friday, her campaign to encourage creative writing for enjoyment. Give each of your pupils a jotter especially for free writing, then allow them 15 minutes every friday where they can write and draw whatever they like. Teachers are allowed to read the stories, but not mark them! Free writing is purely about putting pen to paper and being creative.
