Lay baby down and tap their nose, toes and knees at the relevant parts of the song. With baby on the floor, they can watch you while you act out the rhyme for them. You could change the ending of the song, 'sit down please', to 'here come the ticklies'!

Why not take turns singing with your toddler and pointing at different parts of the body as they're mentioned in the rhyme? Instead of Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear you could say Robot, Robot and move like a robot and talk like one. You could try different animals as well eg. 'Elephant, elephant.'

Take the opportunity for some big movements when sharing this rhyme – take a big stretch when touching the sky, and when touching your toes! This is a great rhyme to settle your child or children to encourage listening, eg. before a story or before mealtimes.
