Leaving Home
No matter how organised I am it is always a rush…
Racing around… ‘oh sorry,’ I gush!
As my purse falls out of my backpack which gapes open.
I stifle a sob, burying my emotion…
Why did I think this was a good idea?
Should I leave home or stay nice and near..?
Gradually, I realise there is nothing to fear
but adventure is in store and the future is clear.
