The Little Writer Journey is a warm and creative celebration by Together Reaching Higher (TRH) for Book Week Scotland 2025, exploring the joy of storytelling and friendship within our diverse community.

Taking place on Saturday, 22 November 2025 (12:00–2:00 PM) at Elderpark Library, Govan, the event includes:

  • A bilingual storytelling session by community-speaking author Hanade, who will share her own creative journey, how she began writing stories and turned her ideas into published books.
  • An interactive “Little Writer Journey” workshop, helping children learn how to create their own stories, from imagination to a complete printed book. Creative art activities like drawing and colouring, encouraging expression and confidence.
  • The launch of the Arabic Book Corner, promoting bilingual reading and cultural inclusion.

Under the theme “Community Friendships,” this free family event will inspire young minds to read, imagine, and express their own voices through storytelling.

Audience Information:

This event is designed for children and young people aged 5–17, along with their families, carers, and the local community. It warmly welcomes multilingual families, multicultural communities who enjoy creativity, culture, and shared learning experiences.
