Travel through time with Dovecot Director Celia Joicey to learn how fashion influences how we dress, how we feel about ourselves and – significantly – how we look!
With fabulous fashion from the past 200 years and insights on why key people throughout history are remembered as much for their sense of style as for their actions, from Henry VIII to Coco Chanel.
This fun interactive talk will include fashion worksheets and is aimed at everyone from 7+.

Dovecot Studios is a fully accessible building with lifts, disabled toilets, and staff on hand to assist. The entrance at the front of the Dovecot building to the right has level access. The double doors are often shut and do not open automatically, so either knock for assistance or ring the top left buzzer on the metal panel to the right of this door. The building is fully wheelchair accessible, including the lift which accesses all floors. There are folding chairs available in the Gallery space, more of which can be requested from staff at front desk.
