During Book Week Scotland a series of events involving a demonstration of straw plaiting by local crafter Sue Knowles, the book launch of The Strawplaiters of Orkney by Fiona Grahame, and a series of activities for young people An Adventure in Time are taking place.
The Exhibition will feature a display of the activities, examples of straw plait, art work and photographs. The Exhibition is part of St Andrews Fair Saturday events and is in collaboration with Orkney Rape and Sexual Assault Services (ORSAS).
Books and straw plait articles will be on sale. Information about ORSAS will be available.
It will run the length of Book Week Scotland and closes on Saturday 25 November.
