This Book Week Scotland join staff at the Mitchell Library for a bookish adventure behind the scenes at one of Scotland's oldest and most impressive public libraries.

The interactive staff led tour, spanning twelve floors and three distinct architectural periods, will give a rare insight into the history and operations of Glasgow’s largest public library.

Please note the tour involves stairs and walking.

Tours will begin promptly at 2pm. Meet at ground floor reception desk at the Granville Street entrance to the library.

Wheelchair access There is a wheelchair to borrow. To borrow the wheelchair, please contact a member of staff. Motorised scooters are allowed in public parts of the venue.
