Local Historian and author Margaret Hubbard is launching her book ‘A Cellarful of Marmalade’ 

Our local treasure historian Margaret Hubbard having emersed herself in history for so many years  now turns her writing to fiction.

Her book tells the story of a very old house in Cowal and those who have lived in it through the years, their hopes and dreams, loves and fears..

Beginning in the present, going back to the past and then returning to the starting point, the book reveals to us the generational challenges and opportunities faced by characters past and present.
