Love From Oxgangs' is a series of 12 specially written and designed postcards that tell a complete story. Read together, they encourage readers to piece together the relationship between two people over a thirty year period. It all starts and ends in Oxgangs – travelling the world in between.

Our event begins with a reading/dramatisation of Love From Oxgangs (a copy of the postcards available for everyone), followed by a Q&A in which OxPen Writers discuss how the project came about, how it was written, illustrated and produced.

The second half of the session is an improvisation workshop in which we invite the audience to join with us to create another postcard drama on the spot. Together, we'll decide on characters, setting and plot, before drafting six postcards to tell the story. There will be a copy for everyone who attends.

The event will be informal, friendly and fun! For writers of all abilities (and those who just want to try writing) and anyone who likes to read. Artists (to illustrate the postcards) also welcome!
