A free, closed event for readers and writers who identify as mixed race and/or multi ethnic, the night will feature short readings and discussion with two fantastic Scottish writers of mixed heritage, Nasim Rebecca Asl and Nadine Aisha Jassat. Hosted by poet and performance maker Sean Wai Keung, this informal event will allow both writers and audience to explore if and how being mixed influences our approaches to literature as well as creativity in general.

The event will take place in the upstairs cafe bar. There is an accessible lift to get there and plenty of space for social distancing. Masks will also be encouraged, including the speakers at the event.
