Join us for a Book Week Scotland event with Louise Gray as she delves into her book, Avocado Anxiety, which explores the fascinating history of how some of foods have become firm favourites and what the future looks like for crops like bananas and potatoes.

Louise has worked as environment correspondent at Daily Telegraph, and as a freelance writer. She writes for the BBC, The Guardian, The Sunday Times, Country Life, The Spectator and Scottish Field. Her book The Ethical Carnivore discussed the ethics of meat by only eating animals she killed herself. It won two awards at The Guild of Food Writers Awards.
