Popular crime writer Christopher Brookmyre and his partner in crime, Marisa Haetzman will be discussing their latest Ambrose Parry novel, Voices of the Dead.
The lines between science and the spectacle blur in the fourth compelling historical whodunit from Ambrose Parry, as an accomplished actor embarks on a killing spree in the streets of Victorian Edinburgh.
The Ambrose Parry books are all inspired by the fascinating facts, real-life characters and events former consultant anaesthetist Haetzman uncovered through her master’s degree in History of Medicine in 2014.
Their first three books, The Way of All Flesh, The Art of Dying and A Corruption of Blood, were all shortlisted for the McIlvanney Prize for Scottish Crime Book of the Year.
