Angus Og's Cartoon Ceilidh is a fun filled comic adventure for folks of all ages!

Drop in to Portree Community Library anytime between 11am and 2pm for some cartoon and comic activities inspired by the Angus Og cartoons. You'll have the chance to create your own cartoon characters, share your stories, dabble in onomatopoeia, craft some souvenirs and help Angus advertise his Adventure School! Paul Bristow of Magic Torch Comics will be on hand at 11:00, 12:00 and 13:00 to give a series of short 10 minute workshops where you can learn more about what makes a cartoon work and pick up some tips for creating your own comic strips! These workshops are like little shots of inspiration so if you're a cartoonist, artist, storyteller or comedian make sure to get here on the hour!

With original Angus Og cartoon strips on display and exclusive copies of some of Angus's most famous adventures to read there's something for everyone at this special Book Week Scotland event.
