Andrew Pettigrew
Andrew Pettigrew is a young deafblind artist living with his family in Hamilton. Currently undertaking a Master’s in Creative Writing, his work has been recognised with accolades including the Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award, the Pushkin Prizes, the Wells Young Poets Award, and the Black in White Anthology Prize. He has collaborated with the Poetry Society, the Scottish Poetry Library, and Pitlochry Festival Theatre, and in 2024 was invited to join the Board of Trustees of the Glasgow theatre company Solar Bear. When not writing, Andrew enjoys spending time with friends, dressing up as a Jedi, and—much to everyone’s dismay—tucking into a good pineapple pizza.
