Celebrating how we care for each other
Death came suddenly to our home and left us all in a state of shock. We made arrangements as though we were on automatic pilot. Our neighbours stepped in and kept everyday chores in hand as we tried to come to terms with what had happened. To arrange a funeral during lockdown restrictions was extremely difficult. Then the dreaded COVID-19 hit our family, with weeks of feeling poorly. We came through it, God was looking after us. Again our neighbours gave us support and comfort. Friends and family encouraged us to live again. Spring turned to Summer and I celebrate the wonder of the garden in full bloom but most of all I celebrate our good neighbours, friends and family.
