Something in Common

Something in common
Confession, darkness vertically cut
Captured by the naked eyes
Fainted, others complained feeling dizzy
Only five words were spoken in the journey.

Fix your eyes
where the lonely sun sets in the dense muddy river
Watching the horizon
Searching for banal everyday
There is no difference from yesterday.

Maybe a pleasant journalist?
In her blue slacks and a matching jacket.
Phone camera hissing around.
The usual ball-point pen, notebook missing
Recorder in her phone.

Metre and metre gap restless activity,
Wasting time for the response
Echoes of footsteps, sobs, and voices
He descends the staircase
Assenting nod at last.
Much more food for thought.

An entry in the diary
Birds respond to the complete silence
Glorious sky above the yellow expression
Centuries of unknown fears gone
May not come back again.

The world emerges from a deep slumber
Possibly somebody is looking for me.
Silence is broken
Reach the front gate
At home in the lamplight

Virtual parties and food exchange end
Went to the pub to sit with a whisky
Swans return to the canal
Relaxation with faces around
With a dream to have the real wet kiss.
