Scottish Friendly Children's Book Tour: Anna Doherty and The National Museum of Computing (virtual)

Apply now to take part in this fantastically feminist event with author Anna Doherty and The National Museum of Computing on International Women's Day.

Anna Doherty is a Scottish author and illustrator with a passion for children's books and science illustrations. Anna is the creator of the Fantastically Feminist series, which introduces children to the lives and achievements of women like Michelle Obama, the Brontë sisters, Emma Watson, and Ada Lovelace.

During this 45 minute virtual event, Anna will talk about creating her book, Ada Lovelace: The Fantastically Feminist (and Totally True) Story of the Mathematician Extraordinaire. We will then be joined by a representative from The National Museum of Computing, who will tell us more about the history of computing, and the involvement and contributions of women before Ada Lovelace.
